short story of bestfriends

SAND & STONE
A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand: "TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE."
They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one, who had been slapped, got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After the friend recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone: "TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE."
The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, "After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?"
The other friend replied: "When someone hurts us, we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it."
LEARN TO WRITE YOUR HURTS IN THE SAND, AND TO CARVE YOUR BENEFITS IN STONE
WHERE ARE WE HEADING?

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings, but shorter tempers; wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints; we spend more, but have less; we buy more but enjoy it less.
We have bigger houses and smaller families; more conveniences, but less time; we have more degrees, but less sense; more knowledge, but less judgement; more experts, but more problems; more medicine, but less wellness.
We drink too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry too quickly, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.
We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often. We've learned how to make a living, but not a life; We've added years to life, not life to years.
We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor. We've conquered outer space, but not inner space; We've done larger things, but not better things.
We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul; we've split the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less; we plan more, but accomplish less.
We've learned to rush, but not to wait; we have higher incomes, but, lower morals.
We build more computers to hold more information to produce more copies than ever, but have less communication; We've become long on quantity, but short on quality.
These are the days of two incomes, but more divorce; of fancier houses, but broken homes.
These are the days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throw away morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. Where are we heading ....?
If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family we left behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family an unwise investment indeed.

So what is the morale of the story????

Don't work too hard... and you know what's the full word of family?

FAMILY = (F)ATHER (A)ND (M)OTHER, (I) (L)OVE (Y)OU
Recollections of childhood—
Each fighting for breath.
The beauty and the horror—
Enduring life’s test.

Gunshots and flowers— Evil wrestles innocence.
Both entwined in one heart,
Screaming to make sense.

Mom snapping photos
Of tulips and me.
Fight flashes of fear—
Being lost among trees.

Discovering mortality—
Beauty and life both exist.
Yet the reaper of death
Will demand his cold kiss.

Looming waves of the ocean
Touch soft colors in the sky—
Fear melts into glory
Adding lessons for life.

For every waking moment in your life some one will always Hate you and will never like you for ever. But at the same time there is someone who will always stay by your side you'll know when you feel sad and there's small glimmer of joy still burred by all your sadness that's them. You can be as and say your lonely all you what but YOU will Never be alone in life. its may seem lik it but is not true there is alway some one that will hael get you back on trace in teh right direction. whether it may me you nabore friends some dude on the streets its all teh same thay will help you if you need ot in a time of troubble and thays why you never give up. its never fun growing up feeling alone but as soon as you realise your not you like wil gwt better and you shall see your self blumein to who you what to be.and who knows you may help some on wtaht was like you before you beacme free from lonlyness and you can stop to help or even just say "hello" and you might just make there day. you just never know. - See more at: http://www.shortstories101.com/inspirational-short-stories/your-never-alone.

Why?

God is a God of love,
But that doesn't mean he's easy to understand.
We don't know why He takes away
Those most precious to us
When it seems we need them most.
Why, when some sad old man coughs in pain through his later years,
Does God take our rosy, healthy child
Run over by a car.
But faith clings on
And knows our God is good.
He is greater than our reasoning
He knows the final good
Which will see us saying in amazement
"So that is why,
I could never have dreamed such a purpose could be
In my limited human thinking
God is good,
God is love.
I see it all now."
But we are still here in time
And must trust where we cannot see.
And the tears must flow
And the anguish tear our hearts,
As we struggle with the pain and loss
And slowly move from day to day
Uncertain how to face the grief,
Stepping forward into a different life,
Without the beloved one.

All is Well

Death is nothing at all.
I have only slipped away
into the next room.
I am I, and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other,
that we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name,
Speak to me in the easy way you always used.
Put no difference in your tone,
wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes we shared together.
Let my name be ever
the household word it always was.
Let it be spoken without effort,
without a trace of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant,
It is the same as it ever was.
There is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you for an interval,
somewhere very near, just around a corner.

All is well.

Silence, Emptiness, & Confusion

....Silence builds an awful wreckage of a girl...It feeds on loneliness and creates a void...Gray shadows haunt and torment and torture...A teenager is stricken and destroyed...

....There is no sound of laughter or happiness here...The little one has thrown in the towel today...Somber, melancholy moods decay the soul...It is futile to hope and dream and pray...

....Emptiness builds a home in this woman...In this girl, this child where hollows have bred...A deepening sea of nowhereness consumes...And eats away at every connecting thread...

....Confusion feeds like a savage inside her,Leaving nothing considered worthy remains...Destined to walk through life less ordinary...Alone, exiled, different and disdained...

Fifty Shades Freed

The honeymoon is without ups and downs as Mr. and Mrs. Grey occasionally disagree and makeup given that they only know each other for a couple of months. All would have been perfect except for one unexpected occurrence in the Grey Enterprises Holdings, Inc building.Reality struck both Christian and Ana as they come home to Seattle from their honeymoon. They not only have to keep the fire burning between them. Likewise, they have to get back to their routine - go to work, meet up with family and friends, and mingle with associates & business partners. Furthermore, they have to deal with the dangers lurking behind. The unexpected pregnancy of Ana should have been the ice breaker from all that they have to cope with but it turns the other way around. Christian looses himself. He is frightened and angry all at the same time. Ana is left to nurture herself, endure Christian's resentment, and cling onto their relationship. An occurrence which endangered Ana's life urges Christian to take action. He lets go of his anger, embraced his fears, and accepted his wife's love as well as the people surrounding him - thus freeing him from all past experiences that have tainted and pained him.

Fifty Shades Darker

Leaving Christian is by far the stupidest decision Ana has made. She is devastated, sad, lonely, and worst - broken. She has never felt like this before - not even the physical pain can match what she feels inside.Christian feels the same. It seems the sun has not set for the past few days. He does not understand his feelings for Ana. He may choose to forget her but then some powerful entity refuses to do so. In her absence, he comes up with a new proposition. The proposition is not something he has done before. He has been in control for the longest of time and thrusting himself to this kind of relationship will be new to him. But he is willing to do and try anything just to have Ana back in his life. The new arrangement is something that Christian and Ana is unfamiliar with but they strive to make it work. Being in a boyfriend and girlfriend relationship is a struggle for both of them as they have to embrace each others wants and needs. Additionally, they have to deal with Christian's unstable ex-submissive (Leila) and Ana's maniac boss (Jack) who both became threats to their security. Throughout this arrangement, Christian and Ana learn more of each other and eventually realize how much they LOVE one another. Ultimately, Christian asks Ana to marry him, which she consents to.

Fifty Shades of Grey

When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.

Shocked yet thrilled by Grey’s singular erotic tastes, Ana hesitates. For all the trappings of success—his multinational businesses, his vast wealth, his loving family—Grey is a man tormented by demons and consumed by the need to control. When the couple embarks on a daring, passionately physical affair, Ana discovers Christian Grey’s secrets and explores her own dark desires.

Erotic, amusing, and deeply moving, the Fifty Shades Trilogy is a tale that will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever.

This book is intended for mature audiences.

The Salty Coffee

He met her on a party, she was so outstanding, many guys chasing after her, while he was so normal, nobody paid attention to him. At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him, she was surprised, but due to politeness, she promised. They sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything, she felt uncomfortable, she thought, please, let me back home. Suddenly he asked the waiter: would you please give me some salt? I'd like to put it in my coffee.

Everybody stared at him, so strange! His face turned red, but, still, he put the salt in his coffee and drank it. She asked him curiously: why you have this hobby? He replied: when I was a little boy, I was living near the sea, I like playing in the sea, I could felt the taste of the sea, salty and bite, just like the taste of the salty coffee. Now every time I have the salty coffee, I will think of my childhood, think of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I miss my parents who still living there. Saying that, tears filled his eyes. She was deeply touched. That's his true feeling, from the bottom of his heart.

"A man who can tell out his homesick, he must be a man loves home, cares about home, has responsibility of home," she thought. Then she also started to talk, talked about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her family. That was a really nice talk, also a beautiful beginning of their story. They continue to date. She found actually he was a man who meets all her demands: he was tolerance, kind hearted, warm, careful...he was such a good guy but she almost missed him! Thanks to his salty coffee!

Then the story was just like every beautiful love story: the princess married to the prince, then they were living the happy life...And, every time she made coffee for him, she put some salt in the coffee, as she knew that's the way he liked.

After 40 years, he passed away, left her a letter which said: "My dearest, please forgive me, forgive my whole life lie. This was the only lie I said to you, the salty coffee. Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous at that time, actually I wanted some sugar, but I said salt. It's hard for me to change so I just go ahead. I never thought that could be the start of our communication! I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life, but I was too afraid to do that, as I have promised not to lie to you for anything..Now I'm dying, I afraid of nothing so I tell you the truth: I don't like the salty coffee, what a strange bad taste..but I have the salty coffee for my whole life since I knew you, I never feel sorry for anything I do for you. Having you with me is my biggest happiness for my whole life.

If I can live for the second time, I still want to know you and have you as my whole life wife, even though I have to drink the salty coffee again."

Her tears made the letter totally wet. Someday, someone asked her: What's the taste of salty coffee?

It's sweet. She replied.

with you...

Thoughts that race through my mind
Of you and I intertwined
Holding hands
Forever
Ride off into the sunset together
Shades of purple and yellow
Such a kind gentle fellow
Love
Under a tree
You held onto me
Never let me fall
Great abyss
Our first kiss
So short so sweet
Living in the moment
Bliss
Never a sentence left incomplete
Making my heart skip a beat

Forever love
Great Abyss
When I'm with you
Bliss

ikaw pa rin...

marami nang nangyari...
lumipas ang maraming taon...
pero bakit hanggang ngayon?
ikaw pa rin...
di lubusang maisip...
na sa paglisan mo ako'y di matahimik...
sa aking pagninilay at panaginip...
ikaw pa rin...
akala ko malilimutan kita...
pinilit ibaling ang pagtingin sa iba...
subalit pilit bumabalik...
ikaw pa rin...
kung sakaling ikaw ay makita...
marami man sa akin ay nag-iba...
subalit ang patuloy pa ring sinisinta...
ikaw pa rin...
marahil walang makahihigit...
sa damdamin kong nagpupumilit...
kahit ano pa man ang kapalit...
ikaw pa rin...
ang aking pipiliin.

you will...

You will never know true happiness until you have truly loved, and you will never understand what pain really is until you have lost it.

the unspoken...

The Unspoken Honesty

I saw that glowing sun
Under which leaves fell
Your smile embraced me
My heart turned to you

Time is such a lovely thing
It brings joy
It brings pain
And we grow in between

In the crossroad we gazed
Just a while but I had your hands in mine
But there were words
The unspoken beauty

We met and said goodbye
You are so far, I realized
Don’t cry or sorry,
I feel blessed that you were here

Time is such a dear thing, don't you think?
It brings strangers close, you and me
Up to this distance
heartbeat can't cheat

I thank you for the warmth
I need it for tomorrow's winter
Though you won't be here to hear me say
The unspoken honesty

LOVE

Love can never be so beautiful without friendship... One leads to another and the process
is irreversible... The best of lovers is first, the greatest of friends.
When you love someone, don't expect that person to love you back the same amount; one
of you will be ahead, the other behind. It's either you catch up or the other waits.
Never be afraid to fall in love... it may hurt a lot; it may give you aches and pains, but if
you don't follow your heart, in the end you will cry even more bitterly for not having
given love a chance.
Don't be afraid of rejection, for rejection is part of the process of finding your Kindred
Spirit; rejection is the dues everyone pays for membership in the human race. Better it is
that you find out about incompatabilities early-on, than to discover them later, when the
relationship is complicated with things that have nothing to do with your feelings for
that person. The universal truth is that when a door closes, another door, or a window
opens. Falling in Love is not something you can plan; but it is something you can be
prepared for.
Love is not a feeling; it's a decision and a commitment. Feelings come and go. Love doesn't
have to have a happy ending, because love doesn't have to end at all. True love hears
what is not spoken and understands what is not explained, for love doesn't work in the
mouth, nor the mind, but in the heart... Love knows the unknowable, understands the
incomprehensible, and endures the unendurable.
The Greeks have names for the four different kinds of love, and you'd be wise to know
them and their definitions.
When you love, you must not expect anything in return, for if you do, you're not loving
but investing. If you love, you must prepare to accept both happiness and pain, for if you
expect only happiness, you're not loving but using... It's better to lose your pride with
someone you love, rather than lose someone you love with your useless pride.
How can I say goodbye to someone I never had? Why do tears fall for someone who was
never mine? Why is it that I miss someone who I was never with? and I ask why I love
someone whose love was never mine? It's hard for two people to love each other when
they live in two different worlds... but when these two worlds collide and become one,
that's what you call....... magic!
Don't love a person like a flower, because a flower dies in season. Love them like a river
because a river flows forever... Love may seduce you, and then leave your heart like
shattered glass, but keep in mind that there's someone who really loves you, and who is
willing to endure the pain of picking up the pieces so you can be whole again.
